Whilst trying to head home after a 13 hour shift, the #VanguardRST Sergeant suspected the driver in front of him may be drunk A 999 call and a great response from @GuildfordBeat got the driver stopped Turned out to be sober, but uninsured. Vehicle seized and driver reported 👍

@sadlystillserve I can confirm that not to be true. Our Operations command is joint with Sussex and our colleagues @SussexRoadsPol are just as proactive in hunting down drink or drug drivers as we are.

This rider was detected by #VanguardRST at 84mph in a 50 limit in fog whilst not wearing protective clothing 😳 He also had an illegally small plate fitted. Summons to court for the consideration of a disqualification, & a £100 fine for the illegal plate #Fatal5 – excess speed
