@diggamatik Ah, the ‘good old days’ – as the fast few years has seen the first INCREASE in the number of people killed or seriously injured on UK roads, maybe it’s about time drivers kept legal in the first place. specially when that increase has been seen more in vulnerable road users.

@sadlystillserve I can confirm that not to be true. Our Operations command is joint with Sussex and our colleagues @SussexRoadsPol are just as proactive in hunting down drink or drug drivers as we are.

This rider was detected by #VanguardRST at 84mph in a 50 limit in fog whilst not wearing protective clothing 😳 He also had an illegally small plate fitted. Summons to court for the consideration of a disqualification, & a £100 fine for the illegal plate #Fatal5 – excess speed
