@Jay28998630 @showmetowards No requirement for us to use blue lights / siren when using our exemptions. There are operational reasons why we occasionally don’t use them. All vehicles are fitted with video recording and black box style recorders which are monitored to ensure driving standards.

@sadlystillserve I can confirm that not to be true. Our Operations command is joint with Sussex and our colleagues @SussexRoadsPol are just as proactive in hunting down drink or drug drivers as we are.

This rider was detected by #VanguardRST at 84mph in a 50 limit in fog whilst not wearing protective clothing 😳 He also had an illegally small plate fitted. Summons to court for the consideration of a disqualification, & a £100 fine for the illegal plate #Fatal5 – excess speed
