@SarahJaneWals11 Sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately a long line of traffic will take some time to get moving. More so when drivers change lanes for no good reason. Frustrating we know but we do not close the lanes or motorways unless we have to for the safety of all.

@sadlystillserve I can confirm that not to be true. Our Operations command is joint with Sussex and our colleagues @SussexRoadsPol are just as proactive in hunting down drink or drug drivers as we are.

This rider was detected by #VanguardRST at 84mph in a 50 limit in fog whilst not wearing protective clothing ? He also had an illegally small plate fitted. Summons to court for the consideration of a disqualification, & a £100 fine for the illegal plate #Fatal5 – excess speed

Driver stopped in Sunbury by #VanguardRST for speeding Driver wasn’t wearing a seatbelt had a wing mirror hanging off & several lights not working Driver provided a +ve breath test & a +ve DrugsWipe Arrested #Fatal5 -drink&drug driving #Fatal5 -no seatbelt #Fatal5 -excess speed
