Traffic is currently being held on the #A31 westbound between the #M27 and #A338 near Ringwood due to a vehicle fire. Traffic officers are on their way to assist. @HantsPolRoads @HantsIOW_fire are on scene. There are long delays with the queue of traffic spanning over 5 miles.

@sadlystillserve I can confirm that not to be true. Our Operations command is joint with Sussex and our colleagues @SussexRoadsPol are just as proactive in hunting down drink or drug drivers as we are.

This rider was detected by #VanguardRST at 84mph in a 50 limit in fog whilst not wearing protective clothing ? He also had an illegally small plate fitted. Summons to court for the consideration of a disqualification, & a £100 fine for the illegal plate #Fatal5 – excess speed
