After the deactivation of the contraflow there will be 2 lanes open coastbound and 2 lanes open Londonbound and no queuing of freight traffic. We are keeping a lane closed in both directions whilst maintenance work is carried out on the central reservation drains.

@sadlystillserve I can confirm that not to be true. Our Operations command is joint with Sussex and our colleagues @SussexRoadsPol are just as proactive in hunting down drink or drug drivers as we are.

This rider was detected by #VanguardRST at 84mph in a 50 limit in fog whilst not wearing protective clothing ? He also had an illegally small plate fitted. Summons to court for the consideration of a disqualification, & a £100 fine for the illegal plate #Fatal5 – excess speed
