Last night a driver in Cobham was seen to be driving at excess speed (70mph in 50) and swerving all over the road. Stopped by our Casualty Reduction Officers and the driver produced a breath alcohol sample of 57u/g – limit is 35u/g.

Driver arrested.

This rider was detected by #VanguardRST at 84mph in a 50 limit in fog whilst not wearing protective clothing ? He also had an illegally small plate fitted. Summons to court for the consideration of a disqualification, & a £100 fine for the illegal plate #Fatal5 – excess speed

@sadlystillserve I can confirm that not to be true. Our Operations command is joint with Sussex and our colleagues @SussexRoadsPol are just as proactive in hunting down drink or drug drivers as we are.
