@dca860 @Pinarello_Pete @swignog Surely you remember this from your Sgt and Inspector exams? Electronically Assisted Pedal Cycles we’re written into legislation years ago. E-Scooters have not, therefore they default to being a Motor Vehicle.

This rider was detected by #VanguardRST at 84mph in a 50 limit in fog whilst not wearing protective clothing ? He also had an illegally small plate fitted. Summons to court for the consideration of a disqualification, & a £100 fine for the illegal plate #Fatal5 – excess speed

@sadlystillserve I can confirm that not to be true. Our Operations command is joint with Sussex and our colleagues @SussexRoadsPol are just as proactive in hunting down drink or drug drivers as we are.
