Lane 2 is now open on the #A249 south between #B2006 #Stockburyroundabout and the #M2 following an earlier collision. Lane 1 remains closed for ongoing recovery. There is currently 4 miles of congestion on approach. This is causing 30 minute delays above normal journey time.

@sadlystillserve I can confirm that not to be true. Our Operations command is joint with Sussex and our colleagues @SussexRoadsPol are just as proactive in hunting down drink or drug drivers as we are.

This rider was detected by #VanguardRST at 84mph in a 50 limit in fog whilst not wearing protective clothing ? He also had an illegally small plate fitted. Summons to court for the consideration of a disqualification, & a £100 fine for the illegal plate #Fatal5 – excess speed
