The eastbore tunnel at Dartford Crossing has been temporarily closed to allow a broken down vehicle to be recovered. Allow extra time for your journey if you’re approaching the crossing as there are 20 minute delays on approach, with 3 miles of congestion.

@sadlystillserve I can confirm that not to be true. Our Operations command is joint with Sussex and our colleagues @SussexRoadsPol are just as proactive in hunting down drink or drug drivers as we are.

This rider was detected by #VanguardRST at 84mph in a 50 limit in fog whilst not wearing protective clothing 😳 He also had an illegally small plate fitted. Summons to court for the consideration of a disqualification, & a £100 fine for the illegal plate #Fatal5 – excess speed
