@markthehutch @dasy2k1 The penalty is the same for both offences, if dealt with by a ticket. Both have penalties of up to £1000 fine at court. Other offences can be unlimited fines and up to 2 years in jail

This rider was detected by #VanguardRST at 84mph in a 50 limit in fog whilst not wearing protective clothing 😳 He also had an illegally small plate fitted. Summons to court for the consideration of a disqualification, & a £100 fine for the illegal plate #Fatal5 – excess speed
