@TwoWheelsGoodOK We needed to complete some commissioning work, which requires us doing U turns in road and driving against normal flow of traffic. Traffic was held twice, once for 6 mins and once for 5 minutes, delays cleared within 3 mins of each occasion.

This rider was detected by #VanguardRST at 84mph in a 50 limit in fog whilst not wearing protective clothing 😳 He also had an illegally small plate fitted. Summons to court for the consideration of a disqualification, & a £100 fine for the illegal plate #Fatal5 – excess speed

@sadlystillserve I can confirm that not to be true. Our Operations command is joint with Sussex and our colleagues @SussexRoadsPol are just as proactive in hunting down drink or drug drivers as we are.
